Location: Burbank, California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 1:1 patient ratio, 40-hour orientation, Monday-Friday with on-call requirements 4-6 times per 6-week period (weeknight call 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekend call varies 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend shifts available for call coverage pick-up.

Broad case mix including general surgery, orthopedic/spine procedures, urology, and laparoscopic cases (no trauma or transplant)
15-bed OR with daily census of 20-40 cases and strong interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, radiology, and rapid response teams
Epic charting system with comprehensive 40-hour orientation program
Flexible scrub color policy and free parking available
First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1-year OR experience

Requirements:

Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
ACLS and BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
Experience with Epic charting preferred
Proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedic/spine, urology, and laparoscopic techniques
Skills in cell saver, blood product administration, laser safety, radiation safety, and wound management
LA Fire Card obtained within last 30 days required
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
