Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, varying between 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM. No weekends, no call, no holidays.

Highlights:

• 28-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit specializing in oncology patients
• Diverse patient acuity ranging from outpatient to ICU-level care
• Specialty surgical cases including flap reconstruction, thoracic, and neurosurgery procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PACU nursing experience required; no first-time travelers
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Phase I PACU experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
