Description
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Torrance, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: One Saturday shift and 2-3 on-call shifts every 6 weeks
Highlights:
- 356-bed acute care hospital with 11 operating rooms
- Epic charting system for streamlined documentation
- Diverse surgical case mix including orthopedics with Mako robotics, general surgery, GYN, urology, ENT, and plastics
- Robotic surgery experience in GYN, urology, and general procedures
- Free parking and flexible scrub color policy
- May float to partner facility in San Pedro as needed
Requirements:
- Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- LA County fire card within the last 30 days
- Required surgical experience in orthopedics (total joints, Mako robot, spine), general surgery (GYN, urology, ENT, plastics), and robotics
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
- Willingness to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
