Description
Start Date: June 9, 2026 (rapid response assignment, start by June 15 latest)
Location: Augusta area, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours per week, 6-week assignment, every other weekend required
Highlights:
- Freestanding Emergency Department with 11 beds and acuity-based nurse ratios (1:4 to 1:6)
- Brand new facility with state-of-the-art equipment including CT, X-ray, cardiac monitors in all rooms, and point of care labs
- Meditech EMR system with comprehensive emergency capabilities
- Opportunity to expand clinical skills with respiratory equipment management (BiPAP, ventilators) and POC labs
- Supportive team environment with PCTs scheduled mid-shift and respiratory support available via phone
- Affiliation with Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Cardiac Care, Burn Center, and Level II NICU
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current certifications required: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS (all certifications must be submitted with application)
- Proficiency in ED procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube insertion, and assisting with common ED procedures
- Experience managing trauma patients and common ED chief complaints
- Positive, flexible, team-oriented, and patient-centered approach
