Job Opportunity – Operating Room Circulating Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Call required (up to 10 calls per 13-week contract), weekday call 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM and weekend 24-hour coverage as needed. Float to second floor Outpatient ORs as needed.

Highlights:

• Multi-specialty surgical environment with emphasis on Orthopedics (Trauma, Joints, Sports Medicine, Shoulders) and Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci XI system)
• High-volume operating room with 10 ORs running daily, 20-30 surgeries per day
• Epic EMR system in use
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment including Da Vinci XI robotics, MAKO system for Orthopedics, and specialized laser technology
• Level I Trauma Center experience in action serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• 13-week travel contract with 40 hours of orientation and up to two pre-approved time-off periods

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience mandatory
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience circulating in multiple specialties including Orthopedics and Robotic Surgery
• Conscious Sedation monitoring experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
