Description
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible scheduling required for float pool assignment; every other weekend; no call. Patient ratios up to 1:6 on most units, up to 1:7 in Med-Surg
Highlights:
- Hospital-wide float pool position with exposure to Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU units
- 13-week travel assignment with maximum 7 days of requested time off
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
- Diverse patient population including post-surgical, medical, PCU stepdown, and ER hold patients
- 12-hour orientation to support transition into role
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Georgia RN license or Compact state license required at time of submission
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with patient ratios of 4:6 or similar
- Strong skills in cardiac telemetry, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation, ventilated patient care, and IV management
- Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips with and without titration
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; delays result in 2-week postponement due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted after offer acceptance
