Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs; willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Highlights:

• Postpartum focus with opportunity to work with a culturally diverse, high-risk OB population
• 11 rooms / 15 beds with daily census of 15-20 patients; approximately 20 visits per day
• RNs circulate on cesarean sections and provide comprehensive mother-baby couplet care
• Epic EMR system; 40 hours of orientation provided
• Float required within scope to meet facility needs; may include sister facilities nearby
• First-time travelers welcome with valid California RN license in hand

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent postpartum or labor and delivery experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills in postpartum care, newborn assessment, breastfeeding support, cesarean section circulation, and high-risk delivery assistance
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Maximum 7 days requested time off during assignment
