Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, full-time; every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Two positions available on a progressive telemetry unit
• Patient population includes MI, CHF, arrhythmias, peripheral vascular disease, and medical-surgical overflow
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1
• Floating required when needed to support other units
• No on-call requirement
• Potential for permanent placement after initial assignment

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Virginia or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry or related specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
