Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Ohio

Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (night shift); weekends required

Highlights:

• Work in a large academic medical center treating diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics
• Utilize Epic charting system and GE ventilators (preferred: Hamilton)
• Gain experience across Med/Surg floors and Progressive Care Units
• Treat a variety of respiratory conditions including COPD, asthma, and cancer-related pulmonary complications
• Floating between campuses may be required to support facility needs
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required

Requirements:

• Active Ohio State Respiratory Therapist license in hand at time of submission
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred; CRT acceptable
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required
• High school diploma and college diploma/transcripts from an accredited program required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, and arterial blood gas interpretation
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
