Location: Englewood, Colorado

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts

Highlights:

• 30-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiology and post-thoracic surgery
• Patient ratios typically 1:4, occasionally 1:5
• Cardiac Center of Excellence designation with high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• EMR: Meditech
• Collaborative team of approximately 65 staff members including RNs and PCTs
• Advanced equipment including telemetry, transport monitors, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, chest tubes, pacemaker wires, and IV pumps

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year current acute care Progressive Care Unit hospital experience required
• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Preferred skills: Chest tube management and removal, pacer wire removal, 12-lead EKG interpretation, oxygen management up to BiPAP and heated high flow, IV drip management (heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, dobutamine, milrinone, ketamine)
• Experience with post-cardiac catheterization care, post-thoracic surgery care, and pre/post open-heart surgical care strongly preferred
