Location: Arlington, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5x8 schedule)

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment with strong potential to extend
• Administer radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
• Daily patient volume of 30-40 patients (adult and geriatric populations)
• Work with ARIA electronic medical records system (Epic experience preferred)
• Diverse case mix including specialty treatments such as respiratory gating, prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, and advanced imaging techniques
• First-time travelers accepted

Requirements:

• Active Virginia state license (or proof of application with temporary license allowed)
• ARRT (T) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators
• Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Knowledge of IMRT and Electron Beam Therapy dosimetry systems
• Specialty treatment experience including electron field, respiratory gating/breath hold for left breast, and other advanced techniques
• Experience treating specialty cancers including keloids and prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
