Description
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; up to 7 days of time off may be requested
Highlights:
- Critical Care unit with 24 beds and average daily census of 19 patients
- Patient ratio of 1:2-3 (flexibility required for occasional 3-patient assignment)
- Diverse case mix including ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-op complications, cardiogenic shock, COPD exacerbation, liver failure, and ESRD on CRRT
- Epic EMR with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of critical care experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Strong clinical skills including ventilator management, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, CVA/stroke management, and CRRT/CVVHD
- Experience with high-acuity patient populations including adults to geriatrics
- Full compliance required prior to start date; orientation is bi-weekly
