Job Opportunity – Operating Room Circulating RN – West Virginia

Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Weston, West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5x8 shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with on-call coverage every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend (must be within 30 minutes of facility during on-call periods)

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with potential for extension in an Ambulatory OR and General OR setting
• Diverse case mix including General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, and Pediatric procedures
• Surgical/PACU/Endoscopy coverage with exposure to Colonoscopy, EGD, Laparoscopic cases, Total Joint Replacements, C-sections, and more
• Electronic medical records managed through Cerner
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Phlebotomy, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
• Orientation provided every other Monday with non-billable onboarding modules (2–6 hours completion time)

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; 1+ year of OR circulating experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association); PALS and NRP preferred
• Minimum of 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Required skills include proficiency in endoscopic procedures, general surgery, gynecological cases, orthopedic procedures, ophthalmology, and pediatric general surgery
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility location
