Description
Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; On-call includes 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
Highlights:
- 2 dedicated heart rooms with capacity for a 3rd procedural room
- 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio ensuring focused, high-quality care
- Case mix includes CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR procedures
- Meditech and CPN electronic medical record system
- ECMO program restarting – exciting opportunity to be part of a growing specialty service
- Collaborative team environment with 4 RNs and 3 CSTs on staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred: PALS certification
- Preferred: Open heart and cardiovascular surgery experience
- Preferred: Prior Meditech EMR experience
