Job Opportunity – Bone Marrow Transplant / Hematology Oncology Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts OR 12-hour night shifts; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on departmental needs

Highlights:

• Work with a specialized patient population including bone marrow transplant, leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma patients
• Provide care for patients undergoing autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy
• Mixed acuity progressive care and medical-surgical oncology unit with 36 beds and daily census of 33 patients
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialty services
• 72-hour orientation provided; may float to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed
• One pre-approved time off period available per contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
• Current inpatient hematology oncology experience required (minimum 1 year, actively working within the last 12 months)
• Medical-surgical and telemetry experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ONS Chemotherapy certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency in chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, central line management, PICC line care, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
