Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Rapid Assessment Unit – South Carolina

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Seneca, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Every other weekend required, subject to staffing needs. Contract length flexible: 13 to 26 weeks available.

Highlights:

• Work in a 13-bed Rapid Assessment Unit caring for adult observation and inpatient overflow patients
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring experience required; manage patients with chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, CVA/TIA, pneumonia, heart failure, COPD, sepsis, and GI bleed
• Perform specialized procedures including permanent pacemaker monitoring, TEE, thoracentesis/paracentesis, and Level 3 IV medication administration
• EPIC EMR required (minimum 1 year experience); medication systems include Pyxis and Omnicell
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialty consultations
• 24 hours of orientation provided; pre-assignment modules reimbursable up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent cardiac telemetry or progressive care experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside 50+ miles from contracted facility (night shift exception applies)
• Willingness to float to similar units based on census needs
