Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (day or night), 1:4 patient ratio for low acuity ESI 4 & 5 patients

Highlights:

• 16-bed emergency department with 8 hall chairs serving primarily low acuity (ESI 4 & 5) patients
• Facility currently transitioning from Level IV to Level II trauma designation
• Collaborative team environment with 6-7 staff members per shift including charge nurse, triage nurse, and dedicated support staff
• Meditech EMR system with integrated vital signs documentation
• Excellent recognition for timely stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma care delivery
• Strong focus on improving patient satisfaction and employee engagement metrics

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license
• Level II or Level III trauma experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC, ENPC, or PALS certification
• Minimum two years of emergency department experience preferred
• CEN, TCRN, or CPI certification strongly preferred
• Demonstrated skills in compassion, urgency, and teamwork
