Job Opportunity – Bone Marrow Transplant / Hematology Oncology RN – Ohio

Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Day/Night rotation or Night shift only; 12-hour shifts; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on unit needs

Highlights:

• Specialized BMT unit caring for patients with acute leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic conditions
• Exposure to advanced therapies including autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic transplants, plus CAR-T therapy
• 36-bed progressive care and medical-surgical oncology unit with 33 average daily census
• Epic EMR system with telemetry monitoring and interdisciplinary support from PT, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 72-hour orientation program with comprehensive onboarding
• May float to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
• At least 1 year of current medical-surgical and oncology experience required
• Hematology oncology experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
• BLS certification required; ACLS and ONS Chemotherapy Certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line care, and PICC line management
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• 2 professional references: at least one from a manager or supervisor in formal leadership capacity

Please note: This is a travel nursing assignment with specific compliance requirements including urgent Ohio fingerprinting upon contract signing. Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6+ months to be eligible. Current employees are not eligible for travel positions.
