Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three shifts per week with every other weekend rotation, 36 guaranteed hours weekly

Highlights:

• 13 or 26 week assignment in a 14-bed high-acuity ICU specializing in critical COVID care
• 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with advanced critical care interventions including VV ECMO and CRRT (NxtStg)
• Exposure to advanced procedures: ECMO, CRRT, chest tube insertions, and central line placements
• Documentation via Meditech EMR system
• Part of a faith-based healthcare organization with over 50 years of patient-centered care excellence
• Located within a nationally recognized medical center campus

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Strong proficiency with vasoactive drips and hemodynamic monitoring
• Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Experience with ECMO, CRRT (NxtStg), and Meditech EMR preferred
