Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Work in a fast-paced ED holding unit supporting patients awaiting inpatient beds with diverse medical/surgical diagnoses
• Target ratios of 1:6 for MS/Tele patients or 1:4 for PCU-level patients
• Located within the Emergency Department as part of the Float Pool team
• Epic charting system with 12-hour orientation provided
• Opportunity to work with high-acuity adult and geriatric populations in a dynamic environment
• 13-week assignment with up to 7 days approved time off

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Proficiency in MS/Tele, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, respiratory support equipment (CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC), and ABG interpretation
• Experience with colostomy care, feeding tubes, renal failure, PICC lines, insulin and heparin protocols, chest tubes, and tracheostomy management
• Willingness to float to ED and MedSurg areas as needed
• Completion of 8-10 hours of pre-start online modules using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
