Description
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with every other weekend rotation; no on-call requirements
Highlights:- Provide comprehensive respiratory care including therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for cardio-pulmonary conditions
- Administer medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers following established protocols
- Respond to Rapid Response teams, arrest situations, and STAT calls requiring immediate intervention
- Maintain oxygen delivery systems and artificial airways in critical care situations
- Work independently and in consultation with physicians to deliver patient-centered care
- 13-month travel assignment offering professional growth and competitive benefits
- Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Active Michigan state respiratory therapy license
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience required
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Current skills checklist specific to respiratory therapy (within the last year)
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Previous travel work experience strongly preferred
- Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility
