Job Opportunity – Surgical Trauma Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Variable shifts as assigned; no block scheduling available

Highlights:

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor with complex and critical patient population
• 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary coverage
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Structured handoff process from ED and admitting unit nurses
• Diverse case mix including surgical patients, trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia (or compact state)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of surgical/trauma nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts; no requests for time off during contract
