Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – Illinois

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: New Lenox, Illinois
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Weekend coverage required; on-call responsibilities to be determined

Highlights:

• Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients across all age groups
• Work with GE MRI equipment in a high-quality imaging environment
• Administer contrast media and utilize age-related technical and positioning protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal image quality and patient outcomes
• Operate hospital computer systems and maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
• Supervisory functions included as part of the role

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification (ARMRIT not accepted)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience with GE MRI equipment
• Strong understanding of MRI safety standards and quality control procedures
• Ability to prep patients, explain procedures, and provide compassionate patient education
