Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Surgical Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts as assigned; no block scheduling available

Highlights:

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor with diverse and challenging patient population
• 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio with strong support staff including nursing techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries
• EPIC electronic medical records system in use
• Comprehensive handoff process with ED and admitting unit nurses
• Patient mix includes surgical cases, trauma, gunshot wounds, and patients with spinal cord injuries including quadriplegia and paraplegia
• Contract start date: July 2026

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical trauma or similar specialty
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts
• No time off requests during contract period
