Job Opportunity – Medical ICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Martin, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3:1 patient ratio across all shifts; 36-hour orientation; float as needed; 2 weekend shifts per contract period

• 6-bed Medical ICU in a 100-bed community hospital with diverse patient population
• Care for adult medical, surgical, and cardiac patients, plus occasional pediatric medical cases
• Epic EMR system; experience within the last 12 months strongly preferred
• Local and travel candidates welcome at the same rate
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, and lift teams
• One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Tennessee state license required)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience within the past 12 months required (must pass Epic competency exam)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, arterial lines, central lines, and critical care procedures
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
