Schedule: Fast-paced step-down unit with floating requirements to telemetry and medical-surgical units

Highlights:

• High-acuity telemetry step-down unit providing post-ICU care
• Clinical responsibilities include drip management and care of stable ventilated patients (no vasopressors)
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 3-4:1 in IMCU and 5-6:1 in telemetry/medical-surgical with PCT support
• Cerner EMR system utilized for documentation
• Flexibility required to float between IMCU, telemetry, and medical-surgical units
• Manager interview required prior to placement

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia (or compact state license)
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent step-down, IMCU, or ICU experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, drip management, and care of ventilated patients
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with floating to multiple units as needed
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
