Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience within the last 5 years
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic documentation experience required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Proficiency in IV therapy, heparin drips, blood product administration, central/peripheral line management, PCA, colostomy care, feeding tube management, phlebotomy, PICC line management
• Experience with dysrhythmia management, oxygen protocol, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, traumatic brain injury care, orthopedic trauma, surgical drains, chest tubes, tracheostomy management, and wound care
• Comfortable managing patient ratios of 1:6-7
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Note: Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters. Unit consolidation may occur mid-contract with reassignment as needed.
