Schedule:

8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Minimum 7 call days per month (typically two call days per week for two weeks each month, plus one call weekend per month). 30-minute callback time for STEMI procedures. Every third weekend required. Contract length 13 weeks or longer, through February 27.

Highlights:

• 90% Interventional Radiology focus in a combo IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP lab setting
• Exposure to urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures including carotid stenting, catheter exchanges, biopsies, kyphoplasties, and device implants
• Work with advanced equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Impella, and more
• 40-80 hours of comprehensive orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Collaborate with a three-person call team that includes an RN

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab or IR Technologist
• MUST HAVE Interventional Radiology experience (90% of caseload)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and either ARRT or RCIS
• Skills: Scrub and circulate procedures, telemetry monitoring
• Preferred: EKG lead placement experience, ARRT Advanced Certification, RCES, or RCIS with medical experience
• North Carolina or Compact State license (pending acceptable at submission)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
