Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Every third weekend; Call requirement includes minimum 7 call days per month (typically two call days per week for two weeks each month, plus one call weekend per month); 30-minute callback time for STEMIs

Highlights:

• Combination IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP lab with approximately 90% Interventional Radiology cases
• Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating for diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Work with advanced equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, IABP, Impella, and specialized atherectomy systems
• Contract length of 13 weeks or longer available through February 27
• 40-80 hours of comprehensive orientation; scrubs provided
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with focus on device implants and interventional procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
• Strong Interventional Radiology experience required (90% of caseload is IR)
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and telemetry
• North Carolina state license or Compact license
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT Advanced Certification
• RCES or RCIS with medication experience
• Experience performing EKG lead placement
• Familiarity with EP device implants (PPM, ICD)
