Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, 1:6 patient ratio (1:5 on weekends), every other weekend required

• Epic charting system with 24 hours of paid orientation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS strongly preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, central line care, and wound management
• Experience with blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, chest tubes, and feeding tube management
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Ability to work major holidays and respond to emergency staffing needs during severe weather events
• Willingness to float to other units within the health system as needed
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted
