Description
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM start), weekend rotation required
Highlights:
- Neuro step-down unit with acute neurological patient population
- EPIC electronic medical records system in use
- Opportunity to work with complex neuro cases requiring NIHSS competency
- Interview and offer process conducted directly by unit manager
- Minimum 2-year contract in specialty area
Requirements:
- Active RN license verified through Nursys
- Minimum 2 years of neuro step-down experience required
- Current NIHSS certification (must be documented in credentialing packet)
- ACLS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Strong med/surg background with step-down experience may be considered with NIHSS and ACLS
- Complete work history with no unexplained gaps exceeding 60 days
- Professional references and current skills checklist
