Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Lewisville, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 1:6 patient ratio; 32-bed Ortho Trauma/Medical-Surgical Unit

Highlights:

• Ortho Trauma Unit specializing in medical-surgical and orthopedic care
• Meditech EMR system with Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital sign machines
• Dedicated admission/discharge team to support patient flow and ease workload
• May float to Surgical Telemetry Unit or Inpatient Rehab as needed
• Collaborative staffing model including RNs, LVNs, and PCTs on every shift
• No on-call requirement

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact license
• BLS certification (current)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Experience with wound care and patient ambulation
• Charge nurse or preceptor experience preferred
