Location: Santa Monica, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required; may float to postpartum as needed

Highlights:

• 266-bed acute care facility located beachside with approximately 200 deliveries per month
• 9 labor/high-risk rooms, 4 antepartum rooms, and 3 triage rooms
• No on-call required; flexible floating to postpartum couplet care when census allows
• Epic charting system in a well-supported interdisciplinary environment
• Full scope of practice including fetal heart monitoring, high-risk antepartum, vaginal deliveries, and C-section circulation
• Opportunity to provide newborn care at delivery and postpartum couplet care

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Certifications: AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (or NCC EFM), ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM (AHA certified)
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Ability to assist with vaginal deliveries, circulate for C-sections, perform sterile vaginal exams, and manage high-risk antepartum patients
• LA County Fire Card required within 30 days prior to start
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
