Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, 2:1 patient ratio, every other weekend and every other holiday

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a specialized Cardiac Medicine ICU with advanced heart failure and post-procedural care
• Comprehensive case mix including STEMIs, TAVRs, Swan-Ganz monitoring, vasoactive drips, and arterial line management
• Work with cutting-edge technology including CRRT, IVTM, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and Impella devices
• Epic charting system with 36 hours of orientation provided
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Up to 40 hours of approved time off during contract (blackout around Labor Day)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience with 2:1 patient ratio experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active Virginia RN license or pending (must be in-hand by Wednesday before start date)
• Strong familiarity with Swan-Ganz monitoring, vasoactive drips, arterial lines, advanced heart failure, and post-procedure care for STEMIs and TAVRs
• Epic charting system experience required
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• BSN preferred
• Must be willing to float within scope of practice per facility policy
