Description
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
- 26-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU) specializing in critical cardiac interventions
- Advanced equipment and procedures including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia therapy, and cardioversion
- Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff and dedicated patient care technicians
- EMR system: Meditech
- Travel nursing assignment in a large acute care facility with comprehensive ICU services
- Exposure to critical cardiac procedures including heart catheterizations, central lines, and medication drips
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience (required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Prior Meditech experience (preferred)
- Experience traveling to large facility ICU units (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with a driven, positive, and engaged personality
