Description
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Unit hours 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM; call coverage begins at 3:00 PM when assigned; weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when assigned
Highlights:
- Specialized cardiovascular operating room in a dedicated heart hospital setting
- Diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacement/repair, aortic dissections, TAVR, and thoracic surgery
- Advanced procedures including daVinci-assisted surgeries, VATS, ECMO initiation, and pericardial windows
- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge cardiovascular and thoracic surgical techniques
- Hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements:
- Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related mediastinum procedures
- Experience with thoracic surgery cases including open thoracotomy, VATS, and daVinci-assisted procedures
- Ability to participate in call rotation
- BLS certification required
- Current licensure/certification as a Surgical Technologist

Resources for your unit some are helpful others are not. If you have to use a timesheet for your pay the CNC doesn’t like that hopefully agency can upgrade that.
