Description
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), Full-Time; Weekend coverage required approximately every third or fourth weekend; On-call responsibility shared in collaboration with team
Highlights:
- Specialized cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterizations, peripheral interventions, TAVR, and device placements
- Excellent nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 patient to 4 staff members (2 RNs and 2 techs)
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunity available for the right candidate
- Day shift with predictable scheduling and collaborative on-call rotation
- Comprehensive orientation and preceptorship for new hires with structured competency validation
Requirements:
- Active RN License in state of employment or Compact state
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Current ACLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiac catheterization lab or critical care setting preferred
- BSN preferred
