Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, 1:2 patient ratio, every other weekend and holiday

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a newly expanded 28-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit across two units
• Care for complex, multi-system failure patients with conditions including sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleed, and organ failure
• Work with Epic EMR in a Level I Trauma facility with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with independent charge nurse support
• Up to 40 hours of requested time off available (restrictions apply around Labor Day)
• 24 hours of orientation provided with specialty-specific modules

Requirements:

• Current Virginia RN license or pending (must be in-hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with previous travel experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BSN preferred
• Must be willing to float within scope of practice per facility policy
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Professional references and Nursys verification required for submission
