Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health – Virginia

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Salem, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, rotating holidays. Float to all behavioral health units as needed.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state license
• BLS and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certifications required
• Previous behavioral health nursing experience required
• Electronic health record documentation experience
• Proficiency in manual blood pressure, glucometer use, and EKG
• Strong verbal de-escalation skills
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and VA-specific onboarding requirements (start date allows 5 weeks for processing)
