Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 13-26 week contract duration available
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 for day shift
• Work with heparin and insulin drip protocols on a 41-bed Medical/Surgical unit
• EPIC charting system with 24 hours of paid orientation
• Floating to similar units approximately once per week
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and physical therapy

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• North Carolina or Compact State RN license (pending acceptable for submission)
• Proficiency with heparin protocols, insulin drips, and IV medication management
• Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, and wound care
• Must pass EKG competency test
• Ability to work holidays and participate in storm/hurricane emergency response teams as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
