Job Opportunity – NICU Respiratory Therapist – Georgia

Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; no call; floating within facility as needed

Highlights:

Neonatal intensive care unit specializing in critical respiratory support
Epic charting system utilized across facility
First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
Comprehensive NICU skill set including ventilator management, oscillating ventilators, and Bubble CPAP
Bi-weekly orientation schedule with specialty-specific modules
Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

Active Georgia or Compact state Respiratory Therapist license required at time of application
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Current certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT, PALS
Epic charting system experience required
Proficiency in NICU respiratory modalities including intubation assist, extubation, tracheostomy management, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
Full compliance documentation required to start on time; incomplete compliance may delay start by 2 weeks
