Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – South Carolina

Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Simpsonville, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Highlights:

• Specialized medical-surgical/telemetry unit caring for orthopedic and bariatric patients
• Night shift assignment with 6:1 patient ratio; day shift 4-5:1
• EPIC charting system with Pyxis medication management
• Average daily census of 20 patients in a 25-bed unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and therapy services
• Float flexibility may be required to similar units or nearby facilities based on census needs

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• At least 2 years of recent nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry settings
• First-time travelers: 3 years of specialty experience required
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required
