Location: Northern Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time position with every other weekend requirement. On-call shifts possible. Holiday coverage from 7:00 PM the evening before the holiday through 7:00 PM of the holiday.

Highlights:

• Provide critical care to unstable patients requiring advanced life-support interventions
• Manage complex ICU equipment including ventilators, CRRT, and balloon pumps
• Titrate intravenous drips and interpret vital signs for critically ill patient populations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to coordinate advanced patient care
• Float to similar critical care units as needed to support facility operations
• Opportunity to work with neuro, cardiovascular ICU, and trauma patient populations

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Minimum 1 year of Intensive Care Unit experience (floating experience does not qualify)
• EKG interpretation experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Completed skills checklist within one year of application
• Willingness to float to similar critical care units
• Preferred: Experience with neuro, CVICU, trauma patients, ventilator management, CRRT, and balloon pumps
