Job Opportunity – Cardiac Sonographer – Wisconsin

Start Date: July 20, 2026 (flexible start dates: 7/20, 7/27, or 8/3/2026)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with rotational Saturday and Sunday coverage. Variable start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Possible call coverage as needed.

Highlights:

• Work in an IAC-accredited echo lab following ASE transthoracic echo protocol
• Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment and technology including GE and Philips systems
• Perform approximately 7 scans per day with diverse case mix including TAVR, VAD, ECMO, transplant patients, and advanced imaging techniques
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Float between main campus and outpatient clinic locations
• Join a Magnet-designated facility ranked as Wisconsin's number one hospital

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of cardiac echocardiography experience required; two years preferred
• Registered in echocardiography: RDCS or RCS certification through ARDMS or CCI required
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program or completion of CAAHEP-accredited training
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Previous travel experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience required
• Must be qualified to administer ultrasound enhancement agents including Definity and Optison
• Proficiency in 2-D and 3-D echo, bubble studies, color Doppler, strain imaging, and PACS
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
