Description
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), weekdays with every-other-weekend minimum; overtime eligible after 48 hours
Highlights:
- 18-bed unit with 1:2 patient ratios for personalized, high-quality care
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- 24 hours of orientation to ensure a smooth transition

- Pre-approved time off available; flexible weekend coverage
- Hands-on experience in labor and delivery with mother-baby responsibilities
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing (must be valid or pending with confirmed ETA)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Mother-Baby experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (via AHA), and NRP
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
- Skills in triage of obstetrical patients, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and circulating for C-sections preferred
- AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Completion of lab work within 72 hours of contract signing
