Job Opportunity – Radiologic Technologist, Interventional Imaging – Wisconsin

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts with start times between 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Four 10-hour shifts on weeks with holidays. No weekends or holiday coverage required. Standby shifts may be assigned as needed.

Highlights:

  • Work with a Magnet-designated, top-ranked academic medical center recognized as a leading teaching institution and referral center
  • Diverse patient population including inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and intra-operative cases with varying acuity levels including trauma
  • Utilize multiple imaging modalities: Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, and MR for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Collaborate closely with vascular interventional physicians and nurses in a 5-room interventional suite
  • Epic charting system and modern equipment including GE and Siemens platforms
  • Comprehensive 80-hour orientation to ensure successful transition

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical interventional imaging experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
  • Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with interventional procedures including PICC lines, central venous access, port management, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and embolization
  • Proficiency in sterile technique, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, and PACS systems
  • Neuro/stroke experience preferred
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
