Description
Start Date: August 2026
Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday through Friday rotation, with on-call responsibilities including weekend coverage. On-call weekend rotation runs Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM with 30-minute response time required. Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per technologist.

- Work in a 838-bed Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital affiliated with the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
- Diverse case mix including diagnostic and interventional procedures, plus structural heart interventions
- Cerner charting system with comprehensive EMR documentation
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with minimal floating requirements
- Free parking provided for traveling professionals
- Scrubs provided by facility
Requirements:
- Active West Virginia state license or compact license (must have active WV license in hand by start date)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association
- Minimum 1-3 years of Cath Lab experience required; must be competent in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization including structural heart procedures
- Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Proficiency in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, PCI, PTCA, and cardiac implant closure devices
- Strong skills in equipment setup, sterile technique, room circulation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Two professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past two years
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (75-99 miles may be considered)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
