Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Southern California

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Mission Hills, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio; every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) plus 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule; 36-hour orientation; guaranteed hours with one potential call-off per two-week pay period

• 377-bed acute care Magnet facility with an 18-bed NICU (Level III)
• Epic charting system (experience preferred)
• Caring for neonates from 23/24 weeks, including ELBW, respiratory distress, therapeutic hypothermia, and complex care
• Advanced ventilation options including NAVA, HFOV, jet ventilation, and NIRS monitoring
• Occasional float to nursery/baby transition role only during high delivery volumes

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS, NRP, and LA Fire Card (within 30 days)
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in neonatal intensive care skills including ventilator management, UAC/UVC, umbilical and PICC line care, therapeutic hypothermia, and cue-based feeding
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
