Description
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM. No on-call or weekend requirements during regular schedule. Rotating weekend and holiday call for oncologic emergencies with 7 full-time therapists.
Highlights:
- Robust radiation oncology program offering brachytherapy, EBRT, SBRT, SRS, and FSRT on Gamma Knife treatment modalities
- Patient ratio of approximately 20 patients to 1 Radiation Therapist with daily census of 40–45 patients
- State-of-the-art equipment including Elekta Linear Accelerators (Infinity and VersaHD), Gamma Knife ICON, HDR Flexitron, and GE Discovery CT/Simulator
- Elekta Mosaiq Record and Verify System integrated with Epic electronic medical record
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 staffed beds serving both adult and pediatric populations

Requirements:
- Active Texas Medical Board (TMB) License or compact license
- ARRT-R (Radiation Therapy) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience, with at least 1 year in similar setting
- Comprehensive skills in external beam therapy, IMRT, electron therapy, CT simulation, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, chart checks, and custom molds
- Experience with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and brachytherapy procedures preferred
- Familiarity with Elekta equipment (Infinity, Versa HD) highly desirable
- Pediatric and adult outpatient treatment experience
- Experience in teaching hospital environments a plus
