Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med-Surg / Float Pool) – Iowa

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Float pool position providing care across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Telemetry
• Gain diverse clinical experience across a broad range of patient populations and acuities
• Opportunity to develop advanced skills in specialty areas including telemetry monitoring and step-down care
• Float coverage includes two campus locations (approximately 9.5 miles apart)
• Night shift schedule with every other weekend rotation
• Travel assignment with contract start date in November 2026

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Experience with telemetry monitoring preferred
• Flexibility to float across multiple units and specialties
• Willingness to travel between two campus locations as assigned
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
